Reflections
You can’t give two things your undivided attention. That’s an oxymoron. Two things are already divided. Lately, God has shown me I have been divided not only in spiritual matters, but in physical aspects, too. I’ve found myself putting my hands to things, and not giving it my undivided attention. He’s been showing me I’ve grown accustomed to juggling multiple things for so long, it has become an automatic response. God told me, ‘Master what you have in your hand first, before reaching for something else…’ ‘You’re looking ahead, but you have not conquered what’s right in front of you…’ I’m the problem and I’ve been looking to myself for the solution. The undivided attention has caused errors, average work performance, and un-motivation. It has caused disorganization, delay, and unfruitfulness.
Lord, I repent for not giving situations, people, or assignments my undivided attention. Thank you for giving me grace to focus and maximize whatever I put my hand to in excellence.
