Sackcloth and Ashes

Lamentations 3:22-24 “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning, Great is Your faithfulness. vs 24 “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, therefore I hope in Him!”

Take up a lamentation, Felicia, your old man is dead and gone. Though she cries to be alive again, there’s something Greater in you that rose from the dead. Everyday you choose life over death, what’s unknown over familiarity, each step is to trust in His way. Every day your flesh laments at being deceased, but to be dead is to be alive..

Matthew 16:25 “For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake, will find it.”

John 12:24 “Truly, truly I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies it bears much fruit.”

Beauty for our ashes, our old man has been cremated as a sweet fragrance. Deny myself, take up my cross and follow Him..
